Welcome Edheads and random web surfers! Whether you've already downloaded every bootlegged Eddie From Ohio show or simply followed the light shining off Robbie’s scalp, you've reached Schaefer’s new homepage away from home.

Here you can learn even more about the smoothest head in folk music: What he contemplates during Eddie’s drum solos (metrosexuality), where he’ll be the weekend of Mike's silent nipple-piercing retreat (playing for you), how he achieves his high-gloss look (spit, guitar polish). Yeah, all the important stuff. Be sure to check out upcoming solo dates, visit the store for new music, and e-mail Robbie about something interesting. Go ahead. You know you want to.

NEWS: Summer shows (for kids and grown-ups) posted! Check out the 'Shows' page.

Robbie is starting work on a new solo studio album to be released before the end of the year. Want a preview? Go to Robbie's myspace page and download demos of 'Evergreen' and 'Take Back This Moment'. It's special. For you. The people.

o We know you're too polite to ask, but you're probably wondering, "What about Eddie From Ohio? That's what I'm really interested in!" Well, here at Robbie Schaefer World Headquarters we feel your pain (we are folkies, after all). Click on www.eddiefromohio.com for Julie's American Idol updates plus all the other band info you crave and desire.

o In case we hadn't mentioned it, Robbie is follicularly challenged. He's actually quite proud of this. In fact, he uses a nifty little gadget called HeadBlade® to achieve this handsome, tragically hip look. He thinks HeadBlade® is the cat's meow. And if you haven't figured it out by now, he even endorses it! Check it out at www.headblade.com.

o Robbie's first solo album in over 10 years, In the Flesh, was released in March 2004. Recorded live over twonights in Vienna, VA, the album features 16 songs: some previously released by EFO, others seeing the light of day for the first time, plus a few favorite covers. It's a bare-bones presentation--just Robbie and his guitar.

The Richmond Times-Dispatch says, "Brilliant . . . the true treasures of this collection are a pair of new tunes, Independence, Indiana and This Is Me. . . . while he certainly does the covers justice, a writer as gifted as Schaefer doesn't need to look any farther than his own notebook for material."

Robbie's Mom says, "My son rocks. Buy his record. Please." What else do you need? In the Flesh is available at all solo and EFO shows, but if you can't stand the anticipation any longer, go straight to www.bulletproofstore.com and order one of your very own. Just say Robbie's mom sent you
